Background
Born Konstantin Borisovich Tszyu in Serov, Soviet Union to a Korean father and Russian mother, Kostya Tszyu emigrated to Australia after the 1991 World Amateur Championships and turned professional in 1992.
Career
He won his first world title in 1995 and unified the light welterweight division by stopping Zab Judah in 2001. He retired from boxing in 2005 after a loss to Ricky Hatton.
